Make your own Lava lamp! 🌋
Good for kids of all ages!
Time required:
Less than 5 minutes
Materials required:
Clean plastic bottle
Water
Vegetable oil
Fizzing tablets (like Alka Seltzer)
Food coloring
Directions:
Fill the bottle 1/4th full with water.
Add a few drops of food coloring.
Add vegetable oil until the bottle is almost full. You may need to wait a couple minutes until the oil and water separate into layers.
Break the fizzy tablet in half and drop it into the bottle. Watch what happens!
